During one of the concerts in the ongoing Dream Team tour in the US, Parineeti Chopra grooved to the Desi Girl track from Dostana (2008) that was filmed on her star cousin, Priyanka Chopra. She posted on Twitter, “My tribute to the ultimate desi girl! Wearing that sari was empowering :) Mimi didi do you approve?? @priyankachopra (sic).”
Piggy Chops responded by saying, “Love it baby girl! It is so empowering being a desi girl! Can’t wait to c u @ParineetiChopra (sic).”
